Receives customer calls and walk-in customers, obtaining all pertinent information to assist them
Interfaces with and assists other employees
Process customer service agreement invoices and SOS samples
Maintains all work order fields, including detailed maintenance of notes, parts labor, etc
Maintains records, logs and files
Documents approval/disapproval of repairs
Enters and maintains expenses into database system
Enters timecard data and submits weekly labor recap reports
Reviews work in progress reports
Post and create purchase orders; reconciles and pays bills
Communicates discrepancies or problems to management
Creates, checks and mails invoices
Creates and reviews reports
Performs various administrative tasks
Performs related duties as assigned

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Service Clerk to join their team. This individual is responsible for general clerical functions supporting the Earthmoving service team. Depending on the needs, Service Clerks may perform some or all of the functions listed below.

Essential Duties ...

  • Opens, tracks and input data into work orders.

  • Receives customer calls and walk-in customers, obtaining all pertinent information to assist them.

  • Interfaces with and assists other employees.

  • Process customer service agreement invoices and SOS samples.

  • Maintains all work order fields, including detailed maintenance of notes, parts labor, etc.

  • Maintains records, logs and files.
